Ten years, no service, never sold: the SKX007 is the twerp that started it all
The first twerp
This is my SKX007, December 2015, 7S26. The first mechanical twerp I ever bought, after being overcome by a random desire to own a watch. Never cared for them before. This is the one I wanted. It's a K version, and I don't care if it's not JDM. I've loved this watch forever. We've all got one, and we all love them. There's nothing you can say. It's just an absolute freak of a twerp. Mr Jun's got the J, January 2019, on a Strapcode Hexad: a great piece, the most known twerp in the history of twerps.
Bulletproof, bros
It's been around the world with me. Southeast Asia, anywhere I go, I take this watch. No worries. Never let me down. Never been serviced in nearly ten years and it still runs like a top. Very accurate. My one mistake: I bought the Uncle Seiko curved waffle in the short length without noticing, so my tail is for the beach and it looks a bit silly on a 19 cm wrist. Buy the longer one. Personally I prefer it on a Strapcode Oyster. Mr Jun does not agree. Get rid of it.
Verdict
I love this one probably more than any of my other watches. It's my favourite because it's my oldest, and I can't fault it. Classic, classic, classic. I'll never sell it. Never give up.
