Seiko ASMR: five quintessential Seikos, hardly a word, just steel

Tonight's video is quintessentially Seiko, and I hope it induces an autonomous sensory meridian response. For the beach. I'm struggling a bit for content, so I thought I'd do something relaxing: five pieces, all on bracelets apart from the Marinemaster on a blue Tropic for a bit of contrast. Wrist is 19 centimetres, about 7.5 inches.

Seiko are the lords and masters of case design, virtuosos of form, appearance and structure. They make thousands of references and many are truly hideous, but when they get it right, as with these five, they are hard to beat.

The verdict

That's the quintessential Seiko collection: from a couple of hundred pounds upwards, Seiko are present at every tier and nobody else does it like the Japanese. New watches are coming and they'll all be SLA references, because three to four K is our limit now, and now we've had a taste we can't go back.
