Seiko Sunday: a dented Marinemaster, two of Mr Jun's and the SKX that's never let me down

Sunday afternoon at G's house, a bit bored, a horrible tall can in hand, so I thought I'd invite you all to enjoy a few twerps on rubber. Nothing new, but maybe a bit of fun.

Four Seikos: my SLA023 with its first proper dent, Mr Jun's SRPE93 Turtle and his 6309 Frankenstein, and my old SKX007. Just a vibe today, bros, while the daylight lasts.

The verdict

Four Seikos and the old SKX007 wins my heart: around the world with me, never serviced, never let me down. The 6309 is the comfort champion, wearing better than the new Turtles, and the SLA023 is still the leader of the pack, dent and all.

Seiko 6309-7040 'Frankenstein'

A true legend, but a Frankenstein with bad brushing and a bezel you need 2,000 newton metres to turn; for 250 quid as a beater, comfortability matrix beyond Thunderdome.
