The line-up

  1. 1

    Doxa Sub 300T Professional

    8/10 · For the beeeech · Gethin's own

The quintessential Doxa: wears flat and comfortable with that short lug to lug, great beads of rice bracelet and clasp, and the only thing I don't like is the shocking loom.

  2. 2

    Doxa Sub 600T Caribbean

    9/10 · Beyond thunderdome · Gethin's own

Very original and eye-catching with real presence, the nicest bezel action of the three, but the clasp is its main flaw.

  3. 3

    Doxa Sub 1500T Searambler

    9/10 · Beyond thunderdome · Gethin's own

The biggest, heaviest brute of the family, with the best movement, a wonderful five-link bracelet and a slightly misaligned pip at 12.

In his words

"The only thing about this one I don't like is the loom of course, which is terrible."

▶ Play from 04:24

"My Marinemaster crown puts the fear of God into me every time I have to operate it."

▶ Play from 10:40

"If I had to keep one of these, it probably would be this one. It's just an absolute brute of a watch."

▶ Play from 11:09
