Sub 200 vs Sub 600T
Geth put them head to head in "Last post. For the beeeech". Scores, specs and verdicts side by side.
Doxa · Sub 200
Doxa Sub 200 Sharkhunter
8/10
For the beeeech
The Doxa he never wanted but had to have: superb lyre-lug case, his nicest Doxa bezel and best timekeeper, bought for half price; let down by poor lume, a cheap clasp and (later) the hour hand.
Doxa · Sub 600T
Doxa Sub 600T Caribbean
9/10
Beyond thunderdome
A love-it-or-hate-it 1980s brute and Gethin's favourite: best bezel of his Doxas, great lume, a bracelet with incredible drape, but a disgrace of a clasp and a tall case.
Too close to call
No winner: they're the two black sheep of the Doxa familia and I love them both. The Sub 200 is the comfortable, accurate beater I never liked until I got one; the 600T is the unique one, thick but 40mm, with most of it in the Thunderdome. A final flourish in the world of twerpy.
