Blueberry: an SKX reinterpretation with a red GMT hand and an idiotic cyclops
Look at him in all his magnificence
First out of the box is the Blueberry, the SSK003K1, £420 retail. It's an SKX reinterpretation and it is quite lovely. Blue sunburst dial, red GMT hand, and it's a non-limited model of this fantastic watch. Unique? Well, no, it isn't. But it's bloody rad.
Wearing it, it's another stunner. Absolutely wearable. The Jubilee is tag. Look at that blue sunburst effect.
The cyclops, again
Idiotic cyclops. Get rid of it immediately. A magnifying glass, as if you couldn't see the four on this watch without an electron microscope. And the friction-fit bezel? Do I like it? No. But it's quite smooth, so I'll let it off.
Verdict
It's a stunner, but it's not one of my two picks of the bunch. For the beach, though. Obviously.
