Stunning dial, beautiful 4R35, worn only to funerals and weddings
Another gift
The final watch was another gift, from my lovely partner, Miss Sari, about six or seven years ago. It's not a Grand Seiko, Inspector. I'm afraid I can't have one of those. I never wear it, ever, except if I have to go to a funeral or a wedding. It is lovely. It's just not my cup of tea. I just don't want to wear twerps that aren't for the beach.
Pretty, though
But it is pretty, and the dial is stunning. Unfortunately, on my example the seconds hand has tarnished whilst just sat in the watch box. Unexplainable, but that's what you get. Flip it over and there's a lovely display caseback with this beautiful 4R35 movement. And that's that.
