The Seiko holy trinity: SLA033, SLA025 and SLA017 in one place

This one's been coming for 10 years, bros. I think it's the pinnacle of my reviews. Mr Jun has completed the Seiko holy trinity: the three recreations that stay truest to the originals, the 6105 Willard, the 6159 Hi-Beat and the 6217 62MAS.

Yes, they're overpriced, and you can get better specs for less. But when you fall in love, nothing else really matters. I go through each one: bezel, case, movement, measurements, Mr Jun price, and how it sits on the beef wagon.

The verdict

Three of the finest Seiko divers, and to me there's none higher. Where does Seiko go after this? Nowhere. The 025 is still my favourite watch ever, the 033 has the best bezel and the 017 is the most elegant.

Absolutely mint, with the best bezel I've ever felt on a Seiko and the most comfortable of the three, though it's running about +7 and I miss the big crystal bevel.

The most elegant Seiko dive watch there is, with a gorgeous box-domed crystal, but the bezel's a bit hard and definitely not my favourite.
