Marinemaster 200 vs Marinemaster 300: the slim banana, the green freak and the blue one I overpaid for

I went to visit Mr Jun, he wanted to borrow my Doxa, so I borrowed two of his Marinemasters: the SPB077 MM200 and the SLA047 MM300. No notes today, just freestyle, bros.

I don't often have two Marinemasters with me at the same time, so side by side they go, with my blue SLA023 joining in. Plus a word on waffle straps that cost three times more for the same thing.

Too close to call

No winner. The MM200 is lovely, slim and comfortable, the MM300s have the better movement, better lume and that case, and between the green SLA047 and my blue SLA023 I literally can't choose. They're both amazing, and you can't go wrong with any of them.

My favourite Marinemaster 200: lovely and slim, wears extremely comfortably, and Mr Jun paid GBP 500 for a watch that was about a grand new.

Seiko SLA023 Marinemaster 300

I paid GBP 2,500 for it new when Mr Jun paid GBP 1,850 for a dearer one, and I'll never buy another watch at that price new, but I love the blue.
