Next up. George, if you're out there, Inspector, I know you're watching. Here is your watch, and I've never handled one of these before. Finally I've had the chance. This is the SLA021, the black dial, a purist's diver. It's the most simple of the bunch. And isn't it beautiful? Absolutely stunning. Black dial, understated, a deep black dial. A sight to be seen.
Not compact, not lightweight, not sorry
If you guys are looking for a compact, lightweight, baby timepiece, then these are not it. They are not compact or lightweight. But the seamless curved JDM architecture here, the case is just beautiful. Look at it. Facets all over. Zaratsu polishing. Exceptional brush work. Everything is just for the beach here, and this is a mint example.
Verdict
Seiko Steve, you are an absolute torpedo. I don't know how you amassed so many clocks, but you're a man of more means than I, and I salute you. Hats off. And the black, of course, is an everyman watch. Absolutely saluted.
