Lumibrite shootout: Seiko Steve's SLAs in the dark, and the old heads win

Welcome back, bros. Seiko Steve's twerps are all displayed, and the point of this one is a lume comparison, because I think everybody would like to see that. One of each type: a non-Marinemaster, a Landmaster, an old Marinemaster and the SJ, plus the SLA081, which isn't going to be around forever.

It's a tiny torch and I'm trying to shine it equally on all these clocks, so it's not science. Every watch here is over 2,000, and none of them are bad.

The verdict

The old boys have more lume and it shows: the SJ has incredibly impressive lume. The SLA081 is the best watch I've ever seen, but its lume isn't as good as the others. They're all brilliant, though, and the Landmaster and Cave Diver hold their own.

Levels above everything else, a twerp above all others with professional finishing and the depth of the dial, but in the dark its lume isn't as bright, I don't think there's as much application.

A fantastic blue and green glow; I don't think it's particularly brighter than the Landmaster, but both are brilliant.
